  • 360 g of homemade pasta
  • 2 potatoes
  • 100 g of taut bacon
  • 180 g of caciocavallo cheese
  • q. b of salt, pepper
  • extra virgin olive oil

How to prepare pasta with caciocavallo cheese and bacon 

Cooking caciocavallo pasta and bacon is really easy. First, peel and cut the potatoes into small cubes.

 

At this point, put the potato cubes in a pot with high edges and add hot water enough to cover all the potato cubes, then cook for 10 minutes.

When the water has reached the boil, toss the pasta and let it cook together.

Meanwhile, cut the caciocavallo Silano PDO into cubes, put the seasoned calabrian bacon and let it smoke with extra virgin olive oil.

Let it brown for 5 minutes over medium high heat then drain and leave temporarily on the side.
