How to make sauteed mushrooms

The sauteed mushrooms are a simple and quick side dish. Ideal to accompany second courses of meat or fish, they are also perfect for stuffing crepes and savory pies. For this recipe, we recommend using chanterelle, plerotus, porcini or champignon mushrooms.

Sauteed mushrooms: the ingredients

  • 500 g of mushrooms
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 sprig of rosemary
  • EVO oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Sauteed mushrooms: the recipe

  1. Gently clean the mushrooms with a damp cloth so as to remove the soil and cut them into strips of medium thickness.
  2. Heat the oil in a non-stick pan, add the garlic and rosemary, then add the mushrooms and mix with a wooden spoon.
  3. Add salt and pepper, cover and simmer for about 10 minutes. Uncover, stir and finish cooking for another 5 minutes over high heat so that the liquid released by the mushrooms evaporates. Enjoy your meal!
