How to make sardines with parsley

Sardines with parsley (sarde arriganate) are a very popular fish dish of the southern Italian cuisine. Take a look at our fast and simple recipe.

Ingredients:

  • Fresh sardines:  200 gr 
  • Breadcrumbs:  25 gr 
  • Grated pecorino: 15 gr 
  • Shredded parsley: half a teaspoon 
  • olive oil: q.s. 
  • Salt: q.s. 
  • Black peppercorns: q.s. 
  • Origan: half a teaspoon 
  • Half clove of minced garlic

How to make sardines with parsley

First of all, you must wash and clean the sardines. After that, take a bowl and put in: breadcrumbs, grated pecorino, shredded parsley, salt,  peppercorns, origan and minced garlic. At the end mix everything. Then, bring a baking pan, splash it with olive oil, take a part of the mix and put it down on the bottom of the pan.  Lay the sardines down above it and cover them with the remaining mix. At this point, put the baking pan in a preheated oven at 180° for 12 minutes. Prior to serving the dish, cover the sardines with a little bit of shredded parsley. Enjoy your dish!
