Calabrian Black Pork capocollo is a highly prestigious cured meat product whose artisanal processing requires special care and attention. This capocollo is produced using exclusively the meat of Suino Nero di Calabria pigs, raised in a traditional way and in complete freedom; the meat of this breed of pig is characterized by its particularly aromatic taste, accentuated by the processing ingredients and the skillful and slow curing process. In addition to being enjoyed with a slice of fresh bread and a glass of good red wine, capocollo di suino nero can also be used as an ingredient in numerous Calabrian recipes.
