Potato and sausage savoury pie
The recipe of the savoury pie with potatoes and sausage is a quick and easy preparation, which will allow you to bring to the table a rich and very tasty dish.
Ingredients for a 26 cm mould
- 800 g of flour
- 10 g of brewer's yeast
- 300 ml of milk
- 80 ml of oil
- 2 eggs
- 70 g of grated pecorino cheese
- 400 g of fresh sausage
- 300 g of potatoes from Sila
- 400 g of caciocavallo silano PDO
The first things to do to make this recipe are to boil the potatoes, cut the sausage into pieces and pan-fry it.
Once ready these ingredients, dissolve the brewer's yeast in warm milk and mix it with the flour. Add the oil, eggs, pecorino cheese, sausage, boiled potatoes, caciocavallo cheese, salt and pepper, then work the mixture well.
Put everything in a 26 cm diameter baking pan previously oiled and floured and leave to rise for two hours. Bake your savoury cake with potatoes and sausage at 180° and let it cook for about 40 minutes.
When it is cooked, and after it has cooled down, take it out of the oven and serve it cut into slices. For those with a sweet tooth, we suggest adding a handful of coarsely chopped olives to the mixture.
