Hemp pasta is rich in omega 3, 6 and 9: these polyunsaturated fatty acids are particularly useful in preventing many diseases and are recommended for those with high cholesterol and triglycerides. Omega 3 also has an important anti-inflammatory function.

Hemp pasta, which is lower in calories than traditional pasta, is suitable for people on low-carbohydrate diets and has a high protein content.

Hemp pasta has a flavour vaguely reminiscent of hazelnuts, which is why it lends itself to many combinations.

Penne and fusilli can be eaten with seasonal vegetables, such as asparagus, aubergines and courgettes in spring. Another tasty recipe is to dress hemp pasta with a pesto of rocket and walnuts, flavoured with a good sprinkling of Parmesan cheese.
