Calabrian recipes: pasta with tuna and Tropea onion
The calamarata pasta of the pasta factory Ricca with tuna and onion from Tropea is a tasty first course, easy to prepare and perfect for the summer season. We suggest to taste it with a fragrant white wine with a fruity aftertaste.
Ingredients for 4 people
- 320 g of calamarata pasta
- 300 g of canned tuna
- 1 red onion PGI from Tropea
- EVO oil
- White wine
- Black pepper
Chop the onion finely and brown it in a large pan with a drizzle of olive oil.
As soon as the onion is cooked, add the tuna, white wine, salt and pepper.
In the meantime, cook the pasta in plenty of salted water, then drain it and pour it into the pan together with the seasoning to stir everything.
Add the chopped parsley and serve the calamarata pasta with tuna and Tropea onion still hot. Enjoy your meal!
